I pledge continually to improve my professional knowledge and skills, to render a full measure of service to each patient entrusted to my care, and to uphold the highest
standards of professional competence and personal conduct in the interest of the dental hygiene profession and the public it serves.

BCDHA SERVICE PROJECTS
We are collecting the following for Smile Angels: toothbrushes, toothpaste, fluoride rinse, floss and small gift bags to distribute throughout Brevard County. Our service project is our continued support of Space Coast Volunteers in Medicine (SCVIM), a new medical and dental clinic in Viera to serve the uninsured of Brevard County at 2555 Judge Fran Jamison Way. http://www.spacecoastvolunteersinmedicine.org/ We are continuing to support the Space Coast Volunteers in Medicine Dental Clinic. As you know, two years we donated new two ultrasonic units through an ADHA grant. They are also in great need of proxa brushes, fluoride varnish, floss, 2x2's, paper towels, toilet paper, and adult toothbrushes. You can contact Sandy Plasner or bring some to the next meeting if you can donate. SCVIM is a 501-C3 charity with a free medical and dental clinic.
They are in need of many different things, especially RDHs available to volunteer some time in the clinic. We will be collecting the following items at every meeting so please scour your offices and ask your colleagues to donate these items:

Floss - Patient samples
Go Betweens/ Prox-a-brushes
End Tuft Brushes
Rubber Tip Stimulators
3-M Sealant material and Etch
Dry Angles - All sizes
Disclosing Agent/ Tablets or Liquids
Gloves: Small & Med - Non latex
X-Ray film size 2, 3 & Pano films
Endo files and current dental products for root canals.
Sterilizer bags - all sizes.
