The Dental Hygiene Code of Ethics

In my practice as a dental hygienist, I affirm my personal and professional commitment to improve the oral health of the public, to advance the art and science of dental hygiene, and to promote high standards of quality care. I pledge continually to improve my professional knowledge and skills, to render a full measure of service to each patient entrusted to my care, and to uphold the highest 
standards of professional competence and personal conduct in the interest of the dental hygiene profession and the public it serves.

Location:  Holy Name of Jesus School, 3050 N Highway A1A, Indialantic, Fl 32903. The Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School is located on the west side of A1A (opposite The Hilton Hotel) We will be meeting in Conference room 101 with entrance on the south side by the Gym. Feel free to bring dinner/drinks.

Fee: Free to ADHA members, $20 to Non-ADHA members.

 Our service project  is our continued support of Space Coast Volunteers in Medicine (SCVIM), a new medical and dental clinic in Viera to serve the uninsured of Brevard County at 2555 Judge Fran Jamison Way.
We are continuing to support the Space Coast Volunteers in Medicine Dental Clinic.  As you know, two years we donated new two ultrasonic units through an ADHA grant.  They are also in great need of proxa brushes, fluoride varnish, floss, 2x2's, paper towels, toilet paper, and adult toothbrushes.  You can contact Sandy Plasner or bring some to the next meeting if you can donate.  SCVIM is a 501-C3  charity with a free medical and dental clinic.

They are in need of many different things, especially RDHs available to volunteer some time in the clinic.  We will be collecting the following items at every meeting so please scour your offices and ask your colleagues to donate these items:

Cavicide wipes
Cavitron Unit with inserts
Adult Toothbrushes 
Floss - Patient samples
Go Betweens/ Prox-a-brushes
End Tuft Brushes
Rubber Tip Stimulators
Floss Threaders

Tooth Trot 5K at Wickham Park

Give Kids A Smile Dental Day at Easter Florida State College Dental Clinic.

Space Coast Volunteers in Medicine needs RDH, Dentist, DA, and RN Services
